FBI Shuts Down BreachForums Platform Used to Extort Salesforce Clients
The FBI has reportedly seized a BreachForums domain operated by the hacking group ShinyHunters, which was being used to leak stolen data and extort Salesforce customers following a recent series of attacks.
According to SC Media, Salesforce declined to negotiate or pay ransom demands after the October 7 incidents that affected at least 39 customers, including major corporations such as FedEx, Disney, and Google.
