A flaw in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks’ Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to trigger a Denial-of-Service (DoS). The issue stems from improper handling of unexpected or exceptional conditions, enabling malicious network traffic to crash the routing process and disrupt device operations.
